The Ultimate Gift Guide for Tea Lovers
Looking for a gift for your favorite tea enthusiast? From pots to boat-shaped infusers, we’ve got you covered.
As we approach the holidays, you may be looking for gift ideas for a loved one who enjoys tea–and unlike Santa Claus, they won’t be satisfied by a serving of milk and cookies.
Buying for friends and family can be stressful when you don’t share their tastes or hobbies. You want to get them something they’ll like, but you don’t know enough about this particular interest to have confidence in what you’re buying.
If they’re tea enthusiasts, then your problem gets worse. There are tons of loose-leaf tea flavors, mugs, pots, and accessories to choose from. You know they’d love something to help them indulge their tea habit, but you may have no idea where to start.
We created the Ultimate Gift Guide for Tea Lovers to help you navigate this new terrain. Whoever your loved one is, you’ll be able to find something for them below. (Maybe you’ll find something for yourself in the process.)
Ready? Let’s get started!
When Classic Tea Gifts Will Do
Let’s start with some easy gift ideas: teas, pots, and mugs.
We have classic and beautiful ceramic tea pots of various shapes and sizes. Large pots are designed for bigger groups when your loved one is hosting (or doesn’t feel like sharing with a larger group). We also have smaller pots designed for personal use.
- Brown Bettys, available in 2 or 4-cup sizes
- Curve Teapot, good for 45 ounces
- Infusion Cafe Style
Many of our mugs have infusers built in, such as this one, but you can also find ceramic cups without them. Here are some of our favorite ideas:
- Mocha Handwarmer (the handle is inverted, so some of your fingers look like they’re going into the mug itself)
- Brew-in Mug
- The Tea-for-One set, in which what looks like a miniature pot sits on top of a tea cup, giving your loved one everything they need to brew a new cup
And, of course, there’s the tea itself. We have the flavors to quench their never-ending growth of tea. (We say this like it’s a good thing, because it is.) We offer multiple flavors of loose leaf tea in our store and on our website:
- Popular flavors like Japanese Gojiberry, Earl Grey, and Roobios Cream Caramel
- Seasonal offerings like Apple Cider and Irish Rum Cream
You can browse our full selection of teas here.
When You Need a Gift for Secret Santa
You drew someone’s name for the Secret Santa game. You need to find them a gift they’ll enjoy while not being the type of person who spends more than the allotted budget. (That person should expect lots of coal in their stocking.)
We carry a number of inexpensive gifts you can get for this tea devotee:
- A bag of loose leaf tea
- Mugs with animal faces (dogs, cats, owls, etc.)
- A jar of honey with one of the honeycomb dipping sticks
- Tea eggs for brewing tea
- Creative infusers, like this Paper Boat Tea Infuser (learn more here)
All of these gift ideas will keep you within the $15-20 range, which means you can satisfy the rules of the game and make the tea lover happy at the same time!
When You Can’t Remember What They Like (Even Though They’ve Told You)
Be honest with us: you don’t always remember what your favorite tea lover says they drink. We’re not judging–sometimes these things are hard to remember.
That said, you still need a gift for a person who has settled into their tea habits and knows what they do and don’t enjoy. The worst thing you could do is watch them unwrap a tea gift and pretend to be happy about it.
That’s why we recommend some of our sampler packs. You don’t have to pick and choose flavors, because we’ve done that work for you!
- Best Seller sampler pack (Green Coconut, Japanese Gojiberry, and more)
- Chai Tea Sampler (Indian, Tiger Eye, and White chai’s)
- Black Tea Sampler (Marzipan, Pineapple Mango, and more).
You can browse our full collection of sampler packs here.
When They Travel A Lot
Perhaps your favorite tea aficionado loves taking weekend trips. Perhaps they travel a lot for work. Either way, there’s a decent chance they can’t find tea as good as what they enjoy at home.
We recommend our tea tumblers with built-in infusers. These are perfect for people on the go because they won’t need to worry about where to put the separate infuser after the beverage has been properly steeped. They can also wait to clean the infuser, along with the tumbler, when they get home.
If that sounds good to you, then you can start by looking at this 12.85-ounce tumbler or this 16-ounce stainless container.
If you need something more than a tumbler, then we recommend our tea travel case, which holds space for both a tumbler and four different tea tins. Your loved one can pack their favorite teas and take them on the trip with them. Even better: they’ll have multiple options to choose from while they’re on the road!
This traveler’s case is sold in our store, and we invite you to join us in person to take a closer look at it!
When They Love to Cook
You may know someone who’s always enjoyed tea, but they’ve never spent the money on some other items like higher-end honey or sugar.
What if you indulge their wishes and get them some fancier cooking ingredients? We have a wide of variety of sugars and several types of honey that can add a delicate touch to their favorite brews!
Here are some of our favorites:
- Blueberry Honey
- Cinnamon-Clove Cane Sugar (organic)
- Lavender infused Honey (Organic)
- Dark Cocoa Cane Sugar (Organic)
When They Couldn’t Make It Because They Got Sick
Did someone you love get COVID or the flu right before they were supposed to see you? They’re already missing out on holiday fun, so we recommend getting them something to make them feel better: a “Get Well” sampler pack!
You may not get to see them in person just yet, but this is a simple way to let them know they’re missed.
Still Not Sure? Ask Us in Person!
We just gave you a lot of information, and you may need some time to process it. If you have any questions, you’re welcome to visit our store anytime! We also sell individual cups of tea, so we can brew something for you to try while we answer your questions.
