Harvest date 2019 – lot is pre-Qing Ming pick. Crisp green leaf, lightly curled and sprinkled with white buds. This is a harvest-grade or select grade of Bi Luo Chun. It offers a greener leaf appearance with a wonderful herbaceous taste. An excellent value as this tea captures a taste of spring and offers a vegetal-sweet, relaxing cup.
This lot was harvested in the first pluck of the season before the Qing Ming holiday of April 5th. Given the timing of the pluck, the leaves are fresh with flavor and should be high in mineral content and antioxidants. It has the appearance we look for in this grade and its taste is full bodied and clean.

- These select leaves are pan fried capturing fresh and sweet, soft fruity flavors. We find hints of apricot, vegetal notes that are sweet with no astringency.

I don’t like green tea much because of what seems like a metallic taste. But I LOVE this tea!

My favorite green tea. It is really nice sipping a cup when the weather gets a little chilly and you drink a warm cup of this makes you very happy ! Not astringent
